Binance Integrates Tether (USDT) On Arbitrum, Optimism

Binance has successfully completed the integration of Tether (USDT) on the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks. This integration brings increased accessibility and liquidity to users of these networks.

Integration on Arbitrum and Optimism Networks

As of now, users can make deposits of Tether (USDT) on both the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks. Binance has opened the deposit feature, allowing users to securely transfer their USDT tokens onto these networks. However, the exchange will enable withdrawals only when there are sufficient deposits, without any prior notification.

To locate their assigned Tether (USDT) deposit addresses on the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks, users can visit the Deposit Crypto page on Binance’s platform. Additionally, users can find the smart contract addresses of Tether (USDT) on both networks, providing them with further transparency and information.

It’s important to note that Binance supports Tether (USDT) as bridged assets on both the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks. On the Optimism network, the bridged smart contract for Tether (USDT) is managed by the Optimism Foundation and is not issued by Tether. Consequently, it cannot be redeemed with Tether.

Enhanced Liquidity and Trading

Similarly, on the Arbitrum One network, the bridged smart contract for Tether (USDT) is controlled by Tether’s multisig, and it is also not issued by Tether. Consequently, it cannot be redeemed with Tether either.
