Chiliz Partners Ankr as RPC Provider for L1 Sports Blockchain
Chiliz, the innovator in the blockchain technology behind Socios.com and the Fan Token ecosystem, has announced a partnership with Ankr as the primary Remote Procedure Call (RPC) provider for its L1 sports blockchain. This partnership aims to increase user adoption and protect the Chiliz Chain network’s integrity.

Chiliz and Ankr Partner to Expand Fan Token Ecosystem
As part of this partnership, 11 Proof-of-Staked Authority (PoSA) node validators will be operational, comprised of prominent blockchain professionals and with future participation from major sports organizations. This is a significant milestone for Ankr. It will contribute to the widespread success of Chiliz’s Fan Token ecosystem. It boasts over 2 million wallets and partnerships with 150+ major sports organizations.
Ankr’s RPC technology will enable access to both the Public and Premium Chiliz endpoints. It makes it the Chiliz Chain’s primary RPC provider. This partnership began in February 2022 to advance the growth of the Chiliz Chain. In addition, Ankr will operate two validator nodes, including a standby validator, as a Node Validator.
