Yuga Labs Denies Rumors about Mecha Ape NFTs

Yuga Labs is the platform that is known for creating the well-known Bored Apes Yacht Club, the Otherdeed, and the Mutant Apes Yacht Club NFT collection. Recently, it has denied the rumours saying that it is engaged in the strategy to collect an amount of up to $50M to introduce unique collections of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Rumours of Launching Mecha Ape NFT Series Shunned by Yuga Labs

In this week’s mid, Protos (an outlet for crypto media) shared some leaked documents indicating that Yuga Lab plans to collect nearly $50M from the fundraising to introduce 100,000 pieces of digital land in the metaverse venture thereof entitled “Otherside.” In the words of Protos, the BAYC NFT collection’s creator made a strategy to raise almost $50M to release the exclusive NFT collection named “Mecha Apes” in advance of the year’s denouement.

The creator of the BAYC series has not been outspoken about the projects carried out by it. Nonetheless, Greg Solano – Yuga Labs’ co-founder, has refuted the rumours about the respective launch. He emphasized that such news is fake. Formerly in 2022, the firm has shared a related pitch deck, signifying that the anticipation to introduce the NFT collection Mecha Apes has been done by Yuga Lab in September.

At the respective time also, the co-founder of Yuga Labs defended the leaked roadmap of the firm and labelled it to be an obsolete pitch deck without making further remarks. Former President of Scopely to Join Yuga Labs

On 17th September, Yuga Labs declared to hire Spencer Tucker to operate on the venue as the earliest Chief Gaming Officer (CGO). He has previously played the role of a president at Scopely (a mobile gaming platform) and now he will become the manager of the entire gaming endeavours within the firm as well as the metaverse venture thereof – Otherside.
