Tether & BTU Sign MoU to Boost Blockchain Education in Georgia

Tether and Georgia’s Business & Technology University (BTU) have signed an agreement to promote blockchain and cryptocurrency education in the region. Under this agreement, Tether will collaborate with BTU to develop educational programs focused on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies. The goal is to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the digital economy.

Tether Expands Academic Support with BTU Collaboration in Georgia

Terminal, Georgia’s largest co-working space, will host the program in collaboration with the local digital education platform Academy of Digital Industry. It will include eight lectures from local and international blockchain professionals, with the introductory lectures delivered in English and the rest of the coursework delivered in Georgian. The course is modeled after the successful Plan B summer school hosted by Tether and Lugano. It is intended to provide students with real-world exposure and training.

Internships with blockchain startups will be available to students as part of the partnership, enhancing their practical experience. Tether’s CTO, Paolo Ardoino, expressed enthusiasm for working with BTU and developing the next generation of blockchain experts.
