Mercy Corps Ventures is the investment subsidiary of a humanitarian platform called Mercy Corps. The partnership is focused on expanding blockchain adoption in mainstream finance. As a part of this collaboration, blockchain-related opportunities and education would be brought to the far-off communities.

In an announcement, it was mentioned that the latest collaboration has 3 chief objectives to provide Web3 and blockchain-related solutions to conventionally excluded communities. The respective goals take into account funding of blockchain-based pilot projects to offer access to the economic system. In addition to this, providing funds for blockchain hackathons – where the developers will serve the consumers in the growing markets – is also included in the objectives.
