Binance Announces Delisting Of HNT And WABI
Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced that it will be delisting two digital assets from its platform. The decision was made after a periodic review of each digital asset listed on the exchange to ensure they continue to meet the high standards set by Binance.

Deposits Suspension
The two digital assets being delisted are Helium (HNT) and Tael (WABI). Binance will cease trading on all trading pairs for these tokens at 2023-03-24 03:00 (UTC), with the exact trading pairs being removed being HNT/BUSD and WABI/BTC. All trade orders will be automatically removed after trading ceases in each respective trading pair. Users are advised to ensure they have not selected “Hide small assets” in their Funds page to view their assets after trading ceases.
Deposits of HNT tokens will be suspended on 2023-03-25 03:00 (UTC), with no recovery support for deposits made after that time. Binance will support the Helium (HNT) contract swap on the Solana (SOL) network. Withdrawals of HNT tokens will be suspended on 2023-04-17 03:00 (UTC), with Binance handling all technical requirements for users holding HNT in their Binance accounts. Withdrawals of HNT tokens will reopen on 2023-04-21 03:00 (UTC) and continue to be supported until 2023-06-24 03:00 (UTC).
Withdrawals of WABI tokens will continue to be supported until 2023-06-24 at 03:00 (UTC), but deposits of WABI tokens after 2023-03-25 03:00 (UTC) will not be credited to users’ accounts. Binance Simple Earn, Crypto Loans, VIP Loan, and Binance Gift Card will also delist the tokens mentioned above at various times, and users are advised to manage their assets in advance to avoid any inconveniences.
Protective Measures
Binance Pay will delist the tokens at 2023-03-24 03:00 (UTC), and Binance will terminate strategy trading services for the aforementioned spot trading pairs at 2023-03-24 03:00 (UTC). Binance Futures will close all positions and conduct an automatic settlement on the USDⓈ-M HNTUSDT Perpetual Contract at 2023-03-20 09:00 (UTC). The contract will be delisted after the settlement is complete. Users are not allowed to open new positions for the aforementioned contract starting from 2023-03-20 08:00 (UTC).
In order to protect customers and prevent potential risks in extremely volatile market conditions, Binance Futures may undertake additional protective measures toward the USDⓈ-M HNTUSDT Perpetual Contract without further announcement. Binance Futures will adjust the leverage and margin tiers of the USDⓈ-M HNTUSDT Perpetual Contract at 2023-03-17 09:00 (UTC), as per the table provided. Existing positions opened before the update will be affected, and users are strongly advised to adjust their positions and leverage prior to the adjustment to avoid any potential liquidation.
